Rules
-----
 1. Strive not to attack any Passive mob or
      Player. 
 2. Strive not to kill trees.
 3. Villagers must be treated with respect.
 4. The SMP must strive for balance.
 5. Strive not to abuse seed info (including 
      x-ray, F3 debugging modes, etc).
 6. Strive not to die.
 7. Administrators will be watching... players may
      be punished or rewarded for deeds.
 8. Sleeping and "quick kicks" are *not* mandatory
      on request. Embrace the night.
 9. The Dragon of the End has grown tired of the
      usual slayers and now desires reverence and
      protection.
10. Seed code can be unlocked by effort, leaking
      or pleading.

Day 1:

The world opens up for MM, NF, Heroboy, VO and Ao. Despite planning, the seed is random and chaos ensues. With jungles being the best source of planks, being next to a snowy biome is torture. Ao runs for the hills in search of an ocean or something! The world is subpar and the first night is pain. Heroboy dies first, gg. Ao not long after. But with the respawn and a new heading, a village is found. NF and MM hatch a plan after seeing Ao blasting achievements. The two choose to be trolls and Ao is wiser for the experience. The server goes quiet and Ao heads out. The Great Onyx has stirred and brought chaos. Who will meet him first, and can he be protected?


Day 2:

Ao appears to be the only active player today. A snippet from his diary:

  This ocean is tiny. I have a choice to make. Hit
  the wilderness or fight to find a fortress and
  use the seed code to unlock the wilderness and
  all that exists. Hmmm, instead I choose to dig!
  I will dream of my future companions, parrots 
  and wolves as I breathe the dry dust of deep 
  slate in search of a handful of diamonds. What
  will my luck be? Will the the Great One be on 
  my side?
  
  
Day 3:

Onyx mostly slumbers although did twitch an eyebrow as "lag" claimed another would be Champion to great heights. Some players rattled around in the world, but Onyx felt little concern for their actions. The Nether has been breached though a new portal but all know what lurks within for the ill prepared - even the Great One.


Day 4:

"Leave him, Spicy! This challenger, destroyer of trees and killer of the peaceful. He comes to the realm and ignores the pleas. Unbeknownst to this... challenger... the chaos that will be unleashed if he continues in his ways. Let me sleep now for I need my strength. This will be a long month."


Day 5:

Peace returns and the Great One sleeps. The Nether is formidable and old friends guard it. Be sure to be prepared and don't wash your body on the rack at the lava's edge without good reason, Champion.

LB has been summoned, will she appear? Friday night... should be fun.

  "Ao, I know of your tricks. You think technicalities of fire and height make your deeds seem pure in my eyes? You wish to be a champion, but I don't need pretenders. Watch yourself."

  
Day 6:

Quiet for a Friday. Onyx uses the time wisely.


Day 7:

LB and MM make it to Ao's base. Much work to be done. A site is found for a tower and a new bunker is formed. Others appear to now be welcome if they can live by their own code of Onyx's tenets.


Day 8:

"Champion, you tie yourself in knots. My rules are simple and it is up to you to follow them. The question for you now, is why do you delay - what are you waiting for? You know how this ends."


Day 9:

"Hah hah hah hah hah hah... Ao, you make me laugh!"

Day 11:

And so, Ao leapt into the starry abyss of the End portal. What happened next lives on only in legend. As the first to reach the End, it is said that a god deemed him worthy of an eternal duty - to take his place to guard the realm for all time.

But who was this god? Why did this realm require protection? What does it mean that Ao was chosen, rather than another contender? And what if a rule-breaking challenger had been the first to arrive?

The questions remain, yet Ao has secured his place. He is now known as Ender, Ae or the Obsidian Dragon. Though weak, his strength grows with each passing month, and he seeks others to stand alongside him - just as he once sought to serve and protect his deity. Fortunately for the contenders and challengers, the game has changed. Ender intends to play by different rules.
